Milk jug snowmen

Crafts Winter

It is time to put away the pumpkins (I’m not the only one with pumpkins still around, am I?), and we need something to put in their place! I found these Milk Jug Snowmen and how cute are they? They are really easy to make and any craft that reuses old milk jugs is a good craft! Here is how to make them:
What you need
  • Milk jugs (clean and dry)
  • Black and orange card stock
  • Glue
  • Pompoms
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Christmas lights or flameless candles (optional)
How to make them
  1. Cut circles out of black card stock, two bigger ones for eyes, and five or six smaller ones for the mouth. Glue on to the milk jug.
  2. Cut a triangle out of orange card stock and glue on for a nose.
  3. Bend a pipe cleaner and glue to the sides of the milk jug.
  4. Glue pompoms over the pipe cleaner ends for ear muffs.
  5. If you would like your snowman to light up, you can place a battery operated string of Christmas lights inside the milk jug, or cut an opening in the back if you need to plug the lights in. Even easier would be to cut a flap in the back of the milk jug and use a flameless candle.
