What you need:
- 1 cup of milk (of your choice)
- 1/3 cup of sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- A dash of salt (optional)
- 8 cups of fresh, clean snow
- Mix milk, sugar, vanilla and salt (if using) well. Put in the freezer while you go collect your snow in a big bowl.
- Mix the milk mixture in with the snow until well blended. If too soft you can return the ice cream to the freezer for a bit.
- Serve plain or with your usual ice cream toppings.
